People diving in and out of windows is suprisingly common on The Simpsons, usually as a means of escape. Below we list every occurrence we've found.
I Married Marge
A Sales person at the 'Millions for nothing' seminar dives out of a closed
window when the police turn up.
Homer the Heretic
Ned, rescuing Homer, throws Homer out of the open upstairs window onto a
mattress. Homer bounces back into the living room and so Ned follows suit,
then drags him out of the house.
Homer's Triple Bypass
Dr Nick Riviera, when confronted by the media about his cheap operations:
"Such a nice day. I think I'll go out the window." He jumps out an
open window off screen and lands on some trash.
Duffless
Homer, when Reverend Lovejoy tells him that he'll never drink a beer again,
dives though the window at the AA meeting.
So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show
Barney chucks the water fountain out the window, then runs off into the
distance.
Homer's Barbershop Quartet
Wiggum, when his fake moustache falls off at the B-Sharps auditions:
"This bird's gonna fly!" He dives through a closed window, onto
some trash.
Secrets of a Successful Marriage
Moe, in The Simpsons' living room, when confronted by Homer: "She
told me you were dead, that's the only reason I... I didn't do
nothing!" He runs into the next room and dives through a closed window.
Lady Bouvier's Lover
Grampa Simpson bangs on the window in the organ room in the church. It
breaks and he falls to the floor.
Bart's Girlfriend
Bart, after being accused of stealing from the church collection plate,
dives out of an open window. Homer then yells: "Stop him, he's headed
for the window!"
The PTA Disbands
A guy at PTA meeting: "Oh my god, the PTA has disbanded!" He
dives through a window. When Ned informs him that the PTA has not disbanded,
he jumps back in again
Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming
Krusty, after seeing Sideshow Bob flying towards him (incredibly
slowly), dives through a (closed) window. After a few seconds, Krusty gets
up, lights up a cigarette, and asks: "What is the freakin' hold
up?"
Much Apu About Nothing
Ned, when being chased by a bear: "There's no time for the secret
knock!" He dives into his house through the window next to the door.
The Two Mrs. Nahasapeemapetilons
Homer, escaping from the old folk's home, when the guy he was pretending
to be turns up. Open window.
All Singing, All Dancing
"Nobody move, or I'll blow your heads off!" Snake jumps in and
out of The Simpsons' window three times during this episode.
Homer Simpson in: "Kidney trouble"
Homer, while waiting to donate a kidney to Grampa, jumps out of the
hospital window [twice]
The Old Man and The "C" Student
The 'Indian Casino' manager, in a scene similar to Barney in 9F17
(above). He returns a few moments later to retrieve his hat.
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Marge
Marge, after being declared insane, jumps out of a open ground floor
window which, at first, looks like a first floor window, and proclaims:
"I'm not insane!"
Little Girl in the Big Ten
Lugash tells a bad gymnast to dive out of the window.
Special Edna
A teacher runs and dives out of a window after being told he will be tested
for teaching-enhancing drugs.
Three Gays of the Condo
When Homer is kissed by the gay guy, he leaps out of the window and runs off.
Old Yeller-Belly
A man at Springfield Men's Mission dives out the window, believing he is
Jesus.
