Comic Con 2004... Where's All the Simpsons Stuff

Hey hey fans, well we're finally reporting on the events at Comic Con. This year was the 35th year for the show and also hit record numbers for people attending and exhibitors. We loved the show, but we did notice one thing.. where was all the Simpsons stuff?! Last year there was at least 5 times [if not more] more Simpsons stuff out there. Is the Simpsons market for new products dying or just dying-down. Click Here to see what we did at Comic Con 2004.

First off we want to thank The Wonderful World of Animation for getting us "VIP" access into the show. They whole WWA gang was at the show with tons of new Simpsons (and other) artwork available for sale. We were also given word of a new "Gallery Exclusive" which is to be revealed soon.

Speaking of art, the main supplier to the animation world, Acme Animation, was also on hand. The company featured hundreds of cels, sericels, limited editions and drawings on display at the show. A great display for any collector.

Bongo Comics, the producers of all the Simpsons Comic Books, were also on hand at the show previewing the last and greatest in their line of comic books. We heard Matt was around the booth during the show but we didn't have a chance to catch him.

Disguise was one of the smaller booth at the show but they were proudly displaying all there Simpsons costumes and masks. These are official and some of the best half-cap and full head masks that we have seen made of your favorite characters. We found out the company is planning to make even more characters this year.

Finally Sideshow Collectibles was at the show and displaying all the cool Simpsons Mini-Busts which is a must for any collector. All the busts on display are currently avialable for purchase going for about $35.
