News: Just Can't Wait Till November 3rd/4th

Well Simpson watchers, November 3rd (may be the 4th since Fox will be airing the baseball game) is the date the Simpsons plans to start the new season with the Treehouse of Horrors episode. Images, commercials and the plots fot the episode have been released.. as well as news stories. The first comes to us from Ananova which gives us a full outline of the episode:
In the first, Homer discovers a way to create clones of himself to do the housework - but one of them accidentally beheads neighbour Ned Flanders.

Billy the Kid comes to life in the second strand, and campaigns for gun control in Springfield so his gang can return to terrorize the residents.

In the third story, The Simpsons discover a community of half-human, half animal creations on The Island of Dr. Hibbert.
