Hey fans, we've got some great news stories to update you on. First one comes to us from Hollywood Variety where The Simpsons have been nomimated for this year's Television Critics Association Heritage Award. Also in this category are SNL, 60 Minutes and Law and Order. Hmmm, weird mix of shows but we say that it's a landslide victory for The Simpsons. Read the full story Here

From the Dialy Herald, Marcia Wallace, who won an Emmy for her role as the voice of Edna Krabapple on the show, was keynote speaker at Cancer Survivors' Day. Wallace survived her breast cancer after being diagnosed in 1985. She is a beacon of hope to those battle with the horrible disease today. You can read the entire story by clicking Here.

Finally a story about little Lisa Simpson, uhm..we mean Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa. Yeardley is also a writer as many may not know. "She jokes that she writes short stories because she has a short attention span. Her latest release is a compilation of women's humor called "Life's a Stitch."
