Yoohoo and Simpsons Team Up for Promotion

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., July 8 -- Yoo-hoo Chocolate Drink announces the launch of the "Back 2 School with the Simpsons Sweepstakes," running from July 15, 2003, to February 29th, 2004. The promotion will appear on all bottles and cans of Yoo-hoo Chocolate Drink around the country, Springfield and Shelbyville included. Continue..

The Grand Prize will be a 2004 Volkswagon Eurovan GLS (Otto would dig it: "My name is OT-To! I'm Hot-To-Trot-o!"). Other prizes include cases & cases of Yoo-hoo Chocolate Drink and a host of other Yoo-hoo and Simpsons items.

How do you package such an amazing promotion? Each of the Yoo-hoo promotional packages utilize custom designed illustrations featuring Simpsons characters from a skateboarding Bart to a late-for-school Springfield Elementary school bus. The 15.5 oz. Yoo-hoo bottles feature The Simpsons characters on nine different collectible caps. "We've let the student body, faculty, bus driver and groundskeeper of Springfield Elementary run wild on our packaging," said an exhilarated Krumpe.
