When will I learn? The answers to life’s problems aren’t at the bottom of a bottle. They’re on TV!— Homer
This third teaser trailer was released in November 2006. It has the same CGI introduction as the seond one.
The trailer starts with an animated 3D CGI sequence of a bunny dancing to the Sugar Plum Fairy music.
In a time where computer animation brings us worlds of unsurpassed beauty, one film dares to be ugly...
The Simpsons Movie logo then drops into the screen, knocking out the bunny. Moe appears in the 'O' (a donut), and says, The Simpsons Movie: in 2-D.
He pauses and looks down. Uh...the bunny's not breathing...
We then see a short clip from the movie. Homer drives a bulldozer swinging a wrecking ball. Time to save my family,
he utters. He swings the ball towards a truck but it only just touches it (making a 'ding' sound). The wrecking ball instead flies back at him - Uh-oh...
- ripping the compartment from the bulldozer and taking Homer with it. Homer is then swung into a giant advertising mascot, then the fork of a billboard for Zesty Fork restaurant, and eventually ending up swinging back and forth from a giant boulder to a bar called A Hard Place, as per the old proverb caught between a rock and a hard place.
