Well maybe not a box but now eMerchandise is offering a life-size cardboard stand-up of Homer. Great for parties or surprising people as they walk into your place. We thought the 3D version of Homer would have been great to have. Oh well.. so now we're just waiting for the rest of the family to be made.
Hey party people, we've got some more news on rumored future Simpson products. First off producers of Belly Washers 100% Vitamin C Drink will be releasing beverages in Simpsons bottles this Spring. Their web site shows off character bottles including Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, and Marvel and DC superheroes among others, complete with posable figural bottle toppers. The company sells their drinks in 7-11 convenience stores throughout the U.S. and can be found at www.bellywashers.com .
We've also gotten news that another WoS vehicle may be in the works. The first release was the Family Car. The next release is rumored to be the School bus with Otto and kids. As always, we'll keep you updated :)
Hey Simpson Fans.. we've got some updates to hand-out today about the news on future Simpsons products and ones soon to be out for release.
First is the news of the long-awaited celebrity series. This is part of the WoS collection and include such figures as Troy McClure, Fat Tony and Homer's Brother. These have been long awaited and we can't wait to get ours.
We've also gotten rumors that another lunchbox will be coming out. The news of a Itchy & Scratchy lunchbox has already been announced and now news of a Pin Pals lunchbox is in the works. We think this is a great idea and will be a big seller. More news on this and many other products to come in the future.
On Feb. 14, the upcoming Toronto-themed episode, titled The Bart Wants What it Wants, will be presented at the Famous Players SilverCity at Yonge and Eglinton. Fans can win tickets to the event by logging on at canada.com The contest closes Feb. 8. As part of the Canadian Film Centre's Test Pattern series, the screening will be attended by Canadian-born Simpsons writers Tim Long and Joel Cohen. Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) moderates. The episode, which finds Bart, Homer, Lisa, Marge and Maggie boarding a bus to Toronto (along with a Mountie and a hockey player) airs Feb. 17 on Global and Fox. - The Simpson Folder.
The Hamilton Collection has announced that they will be releasing two new figures to follow-up their 2001 figure release of Homer "Woo-hoo". All 3 figures are part of the "Misadventures of Homer Collection." The two new figurines are $19.95 each, plus $3.99 shipping, and stand about 3-1/2 to 4 inches high. These are officially authorized items that come with a numbered certificate of authenticity. Production is "limited to 295 casting days," the company adds. C&D Visionary has released these non-slip, textured decals for the bathroom. For now we only know about the Homer decals, no other family members seem to have been made.
Hey Simpson Fans, Germany has imported these brand new Electric Simpsons Toothbrushes. These two are hand-painted and made from marble resin (making them a bit pricey, but well worth it!). Each stand out 6inches tall and require 2 AA batteries. Thanks to Sunway Co. for the pics.
Rix Tins, the people which are bringing the new Duff Keychain and the ones who released such things as the Simpsons Waste Basket and Cards in Tin Box ( www.rixtins.com ) has announced that they will be releasing a 2nd set of coasters. Like the first set, this will contain 4 different coasters and come in a rounded Tin Can. Wow.. with 2 sets you can now invite 8 people over for beer.
Rix Tins is planning in March to release an all-metal Duff Beer key chain, priced at about $4 each. Rix has previously released products for the Household.
