Hey fans, fresh news for you about our favorite family, The Simpsons, being nominated for a 2003 Golden Globe. HBO dominated the field of Golden Globe contenders for television awards on Thursday as the premium cable network grabbed 26 nominations, including best-series bids for all four of its signature shows. Hey Simpson fans, a fresh batch of news coming right at you. First off, BBC News has reported that Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson, is headed for Britian. "Nancy Cartwright, who is the voice of Bart Simpson in 'The Simpsons', will be visiting the University of Teesside's annual animation festival in January. Ms. Cartwright will be the top speaker at the Animex 2003 International Animation event, and will talk about her career as a voice-over artist." At Animex they will also discuss new technologies involved in animation art as well as voice over. For instance, as most people know the Simpsons have gone "digital" starting this season. Daniel Radcliffe, the one and only boy who plays Harry Potter, has suppoosedly been telling Japanese newspapers in a recent interview (while in Japan) that he would "love to be a voice on the Simpsons." Today the AFI (American Film Institute) released it's Top Ten Films of 2002. Along with the list came the Top 10 TV Shows of the year as well. No surprise to us, making the list was our favorite show, The Simpsons. Other shows included The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The West Wing and Everyone Loves Raymond. Hey music fans, Hasbro's Tiger Electronics has now released in stores the Simpsons Hit Clips. These are great for kids. The way they work is there is the small player which accepts these boxed shaped mini-clip. Each clip can contain anywhere between 1-5 songs/clips on it. Currently the company has released slips for such bands as NSync and Britney Spears. The clips and the players (you only need 1 player) can be purchased at your local WalMart, KMart or Target stores. The player is usually $15-20 and the clips, if sold seperately go for $2-6.

Hey fans, some news for you as we near the New Years and those long awaited winter breaks. First off the National Public Radio (NPR) is proud to announce and new reading on air of a play named "I Rather Eat Pants". Sure we've heard of eating your shorts but the only way this is related to our favorite family is that the voice of Homer, Dan Castellaneta plays a character in this play.
