Hey fans, another great Sunday as the newest episode of the Simpsons hit the airwaves. The big news is really about next week's episodes where, as mentioned earlier, Marge gets an "enhancement" done to her by mistake. Here was the story for this weeks: In this latest episode, Bart and Lisa end up in the same class when Lisa is moved up a grade while Bart is sent down one.
Short product update, more and more TRU Exclusive Main Streets are hitting the shelves and the Simpsons bendables are supposedly out as well. We'll keep you posted.
Hey collectors, we've gotten a few product updates. The first things in store are a bunch of new posters now available. We particularily like 3 of them. The first one pictured is of a promo poster made by Fox which contains a great shot of all the major characters. We've seen this poster go for $70 on places like eBay but now you can get it for $18 at allwall.com . The other two are very cool mosaic posters. These are posters which are small images which make one big image which is the poster..very cool.
Even though the image is very small (above), the next item is Simpsons Ultimate Trivia by Cardinal, this is supposedly the newest in the line of Simpson Trivia games. We recommend you pick this up at BN.com with any other Simpson item you may need since now they have 40% off items and Free Shipping.. sweet.
Finally for all you collectors, Burger King has made it official with the soon to be released Simpson Talking Watches. Four of them will be released and you can hunt them down one by one OR you can pre-order all four from the Supply312 store, the same good people who pre-sold the Creepy Classics set of Burger King Toys. The four themes are Homer, Krusty, Bart and Family each with their own phrases. You can buy all four for $9.99 plus shipping by visiting their online store by Clicking Here. We recommend you do it before supplies run out as they did with the Halloween Creepy Classics toys.
Hey fans, some news updates for you out there. It's true Marge gets a job, a boob job that is. The November 24th episode is already causing a stir as it's said to be one of the funniest episodes. The Sun Newspaper (UK) has full article on the episode which won't air in the UK until next year.
The Toronto Star has a nifty story which relates to an older episode of the Simpsons where Burns runs for mayor and we end up getting a pretty good parody of the movie "Citizen Kane". The article goes on to talk about how some try to manipulate the media but it all backfires...an interesting sorry to say the least.
Joe Garner is the author of "Stay Tuned": 50 years of TV's best. Joe has gone through 5 decades of TV history and has decided that The Simpsons, the longest running cartoon sitcom and now tying the longest running TV sitcom (starting season 14), does NOT deserve a place in his little book. TV events in this book are "are etched indelibly in our memory" Garner says and includes such great shows as I Love Lucy. Garner said he expects gripes about The Simpsons not being in the book but we at Simpson Crazy feel that as the writer he has the right not to put them in there. We'll buy a copy when it's on 75% discount in the book store (tee hee hee). Read the story at CNN.com.
That's the news for tonight :)
We recently reported a recent study that had said that many Italian families who enjoyed watching the Simpsons were slowly becoming like the family. Men becoming slobs like Homer, kids acting like Bart and the whole country losing it's traditions. Well folks.. a recent story by Sky News says that UK residents are becoming more like our favorite family in the factor of sugar and sodas. "Britain is following America and becoming a nation of Homer Simpsons, guzzling fizzy drinks and stuffing our faces full of chocolate at astonishing rates." Will the UK become a "Nation of Homer Simpsons"? We doubt it, but you can read the full article by clicking here and decide for yourself.
Hey collectors, an interesting first look for you on the TRU Exclusive of the New Years Release. These will be hitting stores shortly, you can see more detailed images of this item at AmericanDreamComics.com. The set is to be sold at the price of $39.99 and will be released the end of November.
Some news from the good people at Playmates Toys and SCS on what to expect in the future toward WoS figures. There are talks of a Collectors Club but due to slow downs it may not be till Fall next year. Also, 2003 will not have as many exclusives as this year. The THOH will still most likely be released but others are still on hold. Other subjects covered are possibilities or re-issuing previously released figures, the very slim chance of bands who appeared on the show to be made and the official list for Series 12:
Mr. Plow Homer
Don Vittorio
Mr. Largo
Luann Van Houten
Database
Number One
We'll keep you informed as more information about these and other WoS figures come in.

Hey fans, we got our Novemver preview issue from Diamond and found a few things related to the Simpsons in there. The first is they are taking orders for the 300th Episode Gift Pack. No image has been released yet but retail value seems to be $49.99. The next items are some more wall scrolls. These include (as pictured) wet Krusty and another one with Nelson, this one of him playing soccer.
Some other news and rumors on other products have been circulating. A Ultimate Bart Simpson toy is planned for July 2003. "The Ultimate Talking Bart Simpson action figure! A real wise guy, Bart speaks irreverent phrases with lots of attitude. Bart's speech is triggered by a motion sensor. Programmed with two themes, Wise Guy bart and Bartman, this action figure does come with accessories for each theme. When these accessories are plugged into Bart's hand or foot he recognizes them and makes the appropriate statement." The price will be pretty heavy for this item though just to warn you.
Hey collectors, The Bradford Exchange is going to be releasing for 2003 a series of monthly plates. Each plate will have a design on it for the month. They also say if you sign up for the subscription of the plates you get a free calendar display for the plate ($75 value). Each plate is $29.95 plus shipping so the whole set is a bit pricey. This is the second time there has been a set of Simpson plates released. The first were released in the early 90's with scenes from now classic Simpson episodes. To see the Full Ad, Click Here.
