Hey fans, well we've all heard of the Simpsons inspiring towns or certain groups of people to do things but what about a whole country?! Sure we many have compared the Simpsons to a some-what typical, American family but a certain experst say that many Italians are becoming just like the Simpsons. " Traditional Italian families are turning into a nation of "Simpsons" clones, abandoning mamma's pasta for the sort of habits favored by America's most dysfunctional cartoon family, according to experts gathering near Florence this weekend in a desperate effort to reverse the trend." Could we be looking at a possible real-life Simpranos coming out of this or will this simply result in the show being cancelled in Italy? It may not be that easy since the show and its products (toys, snacks, cookies...) produces over 70 million euros a year, wowee! Read the full story by clicking here.

Hey fans, one of our favorite episodes "Deep Space Homer" has inspired NASA. How so? Well as the episode noted, NASA's TV rating are low. So NASA will be sending Homer into space.. no wait, actually they'll be mounting a 24-hour camera to the top of the shuttle. "NASA wanted the shuttle to look exciting again, hopefully getting back on the evening news.
"That's the intention," Neal Newman said, adding that many at NASA remembered an episode of The Simpsons that dealt with the problem. "Oh no," screamed Bart Simpson. "Not another boring space launch. Change the channel." Bart dived for the television plug, pulling it from the wall just as the launch telecast started. "Close call," he and his dad, Homer, gasped together."
Just another way The Simpsons are helping society.. or something. Read the full story by Clicking Here.
That's right fans, we all remember the episode (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou) where Unky Herb went broke from Homer's own designer car, named after the man himself "The Homer". Now Polar Lights, the same company who released such snap-together models as the Speed Racer, Echto One from Ghostbusters and the Scooby Doo van is releasing The Simpsons Homer car. Set to be released July of 2003, we already can't wait. We'll keep you informed as more info comes out.
Hey fans, we recently told the news of a Simpson movie that may be coming out in 3 years. Well 3 must be a recurring number with the Simpsons cause now there is a rumor of a 3-movie deal. Quoth the scooper: "He went so far as to tell us that all the principle cast has recently signed for a THREE PICTURE DEAL. The murmurs spread through the room. People liked that.
"Currently there are no plans to end the fourteen year run of the show and the writing staff is having enough trouble coming up with plotlines to fill 22 minutes of TV show, let alone 80-90 minutes of feature film. It was encouraging to hear him then say however that the six-man team of writers (including himself) hired for the task of the script want it to be something of QUALITY. They absolutely do not want to do it simply for the cash or to rip us (the fans) off." Read the full story by clicking here.
Ever wonder if Burns was real howrich he would be and where he would be listed in Forbes Magazine? Well guess no more! Forbes Magazine has compiled a list of fictional richest people. Unfortunately Montey doesn't even make the Top 10.

First off we have a final look at the anticipated Simpsons Card game which is to be released soon in the states by Wizards of the Coast as we previously mentioned. Ever picture Homer playing MacBeth? Well Rick Miller has. The guy can do over 50 Simpson character voices and has decided to put the excitement back into Shakespeare by incorporating our favorite family into it. Do the creators have a problem with it? Nope, they even helped him cut through the red tape of legalities with Fox. Read the full story on MacHomer by clicking here.
In other news, a recent poll reveals that although the name Albuquerque Isotopes can raise a lot of money for the team, fans don't like the name! "The Journal reported in a copyright story Saturday that 55 percent of those polled dislike the name, 31 percent like it and 14 percent haven't decided.
Ken Young, president of Albuquerque Baseball Inc., has said an earlier, less formal survey by The Albuquerque Tribune found a similar margin – but this time favoring the name. He suggested those who don't like it will get used to it." Nice way to let the people decide. Read the full story Here.
Finally, Rolling Stones Magazine has reported on the upcoming Simpsons episode "How I Spent My Strummer Vacation" which airs November 10th.
Hey fans and collectors, the Simpsons will be airing their 300th episode this coming season and to celebrate Fox has decided to make a logo for the occation. Ok, so maybe it doesn't sound like much but all 300th episode products, such as the Playmates special set, will carry this logo. Products carrying the logo will probably be very collectable and limited. We are not sure what other products will be released with the logo but we suspect things like other Playmates toys, T-shirts, Posters and the other typical merchandise. We'll keep you updated as more information about the 300th episode anniversary occurs.
