Hey collectors, more news and rumors heading your way. First off is a little bit more news and pics (above) of the new Kelloggs line which we've already reported to you about. As one can see it includes 5 cereal boxes as well as Pop-Tart boxes. Also, some of the products which don't have the characters directly on them have offers for Simpson products such as stickers, a watch or clipy things. The mini packs for Deep Space Homer and Homer at Bat are now out in your local toy stores. We've already shown these items in their packaging about 2 weeks ago.
More news about the upcoming series are coming out from Playmates as well as the confirmation that the celebs are going to be in the series and will NOT be a seperate series as before. Characters like Larry Burns (Rodney Dangerfield), Stephen Hawking and Mrs. Botz (Penny Marshall) are supposedly scheduled for Series 11, 13 and 14 respectively.
Also more rumors of the upcoming New Years exclusives is coming out. It is said that the exclusive will have the environment in from of the Springfield Town Hall instead of New York's TRU. We'll keep you informed as more information about this and other products is released.

Bart, Barney and Milhouse Become Drainage Systems?!

Hey fans, we just found a funny news story which involves Minnesota Department of Transportation naming their stormwater runoff management ponds. "It's just something fun," says state hydrologist Patrick McLarnon. The ponds include the names already mentioned as well as Apu, Clancy Wiggum, Maggie, Itchy, Lenny, Quimby, Scratchy and Seymour — are all part of the Interstate 494-Highway 61 interchange project in Newport in the metro area. 2 Emmy Nominations and It is Not Over .. Ever!

Hey Simpson fans, the big news is that the show recieved 2 Emmy nominations on July 18th during the announcement ceremonies. The first is Animated Program Less Than One Hour and the other one is Music and Lyrics in Old Man and the Key. We really want the Simpsons to win so we've decided to go down to the Emmy office and stuff the ballot..as if they even need our help! We know they'll win even without our help. In another story, more info about season 14 is being released. Executive producer James L. Brooks will appear as himself in an upcoming episode of the Fox toon dubbed "A Star Is Born Again." Oscar winner Marisa Tomei will also lend her voice to the episode. Also "The Simpsons" will start its 14th season on Sunday, Nov. 10, with an episode featuring Rolling Stones Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, along with rockers Tom Petty, Brian Setzer, Lenny Kravitz and Elvis Costello. And finally, "The Simpsons will continue to entertain TV audiences for years to come as far as creator Matt Groening is concerned." is the major quote from Montreal where the cast of the Simpsons are for the Just For Laughs comedy festival. This should calm all the fans down that were concerned with earlier reports of the show ending soon due to the mis-quoting of Greoning. New Chess Set in a Tin Can!

Hey all you players out there, a brand new Simpsons Chess set is scheduled to come out in early August. This set includes the pieces and board in a tin can. The older version was released in a simple cardboard box with a cardboard board to play on. This version seems to be a bit stronger. The board is now covered with the image of the 10th anniversary poster (300+ characters) and the figures are a bit different from the first release. Have fun Chess Masters.

3 New Homer Simpson Products

Hey collectors, have we got a treat for you if you especially love Homer. 3 new products are coming out soon and we'd like to breifly mention each to you. The first is a Homer Simpson 51 inch tall Bop Bag. This product is probably already available in stores and is very similar to the soon to be released Krusty bop bag. Next item we have is a new T-Shirt which features Homer and a BBQ with an apron that says Kiss the Chef. This product is now availble for pre-order through any Diamond reseller. Finally we have a great item for Pez collectors as well. This is a 12 inch Homer Pez Dispenser. The product is not out yet but some places are already taking pre-orders for it. This is the 3rd type of Homer Pez dispencer following the regular one and then the mini-one.

Oh No! You Took it Out of the Packaging!!

Hey Simpson collectors, we've got some pics for you of products we've already mentioned in past news stories but now we have them for you in their packaging. First off is the 9 inch figures we featured about 2 weeks ago. These include Smither, Burns and Homer. Each comes with their own accessories.


Next off is the Bongo set which features Simpson characters as the various Bongo comic book characters.



Finally we have the mini-sets that we featured in the past, these are actually due out very soon and were featured in their packaging as shown in the East Coast Wizard World show. Thanks to MWC Toys and SCS for the pics.

We're Back With a Room Guard!

Well, we spent our July 4th holiday going to Las Vegas, yep, the whole crew came. It wasn't that bad of a trip, 110F temperature outside but the scene by the pools were amazing. As we were all losing out money we decided to go into the huge FAO Schwartz in the Ceasars Palace and being the Simpson Crazy collectors we are, we found something we've never seen. Presenting to you from the Planet Toys company is the Electronic Talking Bart Room Guard. The guard says things like "Hot Stuff Coming Through", "I'm bad to the bone", "Whoooaa! Baby!" or will just sound an alarm if any motion occurs toward the direction it faces. Sure we lost a lot in Vegas, but the Room Guard made it all better, sort of.
