Hey fans, the new season of South Park on Comedy Central airs on Wednesday and according to the official South Park website, the season premiere will be a episode called "Simpsons Already Did It". From the description of the episode Butter's is still Dr. Chaos trying to destroy the world and somehow it'll tie into the picture we see as Chef and Mr. Garrison are drawn as Simpson characters along with what looks like Bart. The only way to really find out what this image is to catch the episode at 10pm on Comedy Central on Wednesday.

Hey all you collectors out there, we've got some news on new products out there after we went on a little shopping trip here. First on our list is the set of new Simpson magnets from Hot Properties. This sheet includes 9 magnets total which include one of the major characters and of course the Duff 5 Basic Food Groups; very funny. You can either but this sheet up as one big magnet or pop out the 9 as individual magnets.
Our next next item is the Simpsons 3 Card Games in 1. This boxed card game(s) includes 56 cards which allow you to play the games Bad Memory, Cheat and Crazy Eats. Very fun and small so you can take it on trip, this item was made by Rose Art.
The last item on the list is a first for us, The Simpsons Homer Carry Lite. It's about 6 inches tall and features Homer sitting on a donut with a remote in one hand and a Duff in the other. Made by Playfully Yours, the product comes with batteries and is made to sit on a table and when you pick it up a lite comes out of the bottom of the donut. It's not heavy so to put it in a room as a next-to-the-bed night light is a great idea, but as a new Simpsons product it gets a big thumbs up from us. Ok, we think we covered everything for now, Happy Shopping Everyone!
Hey fans, a quick little update for you collectors out there. EB, has just released new pics on the upcoming KBBL Exclusive environment and they also have featured the cover for the upcoming EA Simpsons Skateboarding game. On a small side note, EB has also placed in pre-order for a Episode 300 Special Set. Speculations are still flying around as to what the set will include but nothing concrete has been found about it. We'll keep you updated.
A site by the name of Final Planet (www.finalplanet.net) has listed the 101 reasons why the show is the greatest show of all time. This isn't your ordinary little stupid list either. This lists has facts about the show you may have never known, incredible facts about the characters, fun facts about the guests and little small things you would never notice like "At Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con, Uter walks by in the span of a second which is hardly enough time to notice his shirt says Futurama". This is an amazing list! See it by clicking RIGHT HERE!
Hey hey Simpson fans, some news on the new products hitting your local toy stores and online Simpson toy stores. Here's what you can start looking for.
The Tin Krusty-in-the-Box is finally out. The follows the release of the anticipated Tin Wind-Up Homer. This wind of Krusty works like the old fashioned Jack-in-Boxes but features our favorite clown instead.
While on the subject of toys, Series 9 WoS Figures and the new Asst. E environments featuring Jasper in the Retirement Castle and Officer in Springfield jail may already be out in some stores and our scheduled to be out everywhere in about 1-2 weeks.
Celebrity Series 2 is out now in most, if not all, Toys R Us. This series has only 2 figures, since the Rabbi was cancelled, and they are Brad Goodman and Lionel Hutz. Each comes with their own accessories and as a side note, all proceeds made from the sale of the Lionel Hutz will go toward a trust fund established for Phil Hartman's kids by Fox; he did the voice for Hutz.
Lastly, a nice little fun product discovered by members of the SCS board, is the Kelloggs Pops cereal box featuring Homer. We have not personally seen these cereal boxes in our local stores here but we will be on the lookout and so should you. This may be another quick promotional item for the US in conjunction with Fox, Playmates Toys and Kelloggs. We already know this is not the first time Kelloggs is working with the Simpsons on their boxes.
Hey fans, some very cool updates from the people at Dark Horse and Bongo. The first really cool, fun update is the announcement of Futurama/Simpsons Special: Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis #1, a comic book which features as you may have guessed the characters from BOTH Simpsons and Futurama. This is going to be a 2-part mini-series. The interview featured in Junes Diamond Catalogs with the artists from both comics (Simpsons: Bill Morrison and Terry Delegeane, Futurama: Ian Boothby and James Lloyd) tells the excitement they had in working together and remind us this is not the first over crossover for Bongo since there was a mix with the Simpsons with Itchy and Scratchy and Radioactive Man.
Next small update is the release of the gel/goo Blinky 3-eyed fish which will be released by Dark Horse. This is similar the the blobs released for the Futurama toys previously released. This is not your normal slime, a little more stable and not as messy as the other "goo" on the market, as silly as it may sound. Both these items are due before the end of the year. We'll keep you updated as always.
A story by The Register in the UK. Counter culture hero Paul Krassner - co-founder of the Yippies - has made available a recording of Homer Simpson that Fox refused to sanction. It features Dan Castellaneta, who plays Homer in Fox's The Simpsons introducing a live performance by Krassner. Although the introduction was penned by Castanella, Fox owns the rights and after hearing the entire CD refused permission for Homer's voice to appear, according to Krassner. News from IMdb about Prince William being on a future episode of The Simpsons: Britain's Prince William is reportedly set to star in a forthcoming episode of The Simpsons. The 19-year-old royal will meet 10-year-old Bart Simpson after dad Homer wins an all-expenses-paid trip to London. Buckingham Palace insists that unlike previous guest stars on the show, William will not provide a voiceover. A Simpsons source told British newspaper The Daily Express, "The planning of the London episode is at an early stage but who better to have in it than Prince William? It is understood that any portrayal of him would have to be tastefully done. After all, we wouldn't want poor Homer to end up in the Tower of London."
