Simpsons Inflatables for Summer Fun

Hey fans, just in time for the summer and the good times in the pool are the new Simpsons Inflatables. These fun flatables stand about 24 inches high each and 10 inches wide. Characters which are currently released are Lisa, Maggie, Marge, Bart, Homer, Burns, Krusty, Apu, Ralph and Itchy with Scratchy. Strike Over: Cast Gets More Doh!

A month after stalled contract renewal talks led the voices of The Simpsons to stop work, both the actors and Fox are getting more "D'oh!" Terms of the deal were not announced for the actors who provide the voices for Homer and Marge Simpson and other characters on the long-running animated series.

Despite speculation the dispute would shorten the 2004-05 season, the studio said it was optimistic that all 22 planned episodes could be finished.

Each cast member was seeking about $360,000 an episode, or $8 million for the 22-episode, 2004-05 season, the trade paper Daily Variety reported previously. The actors were earning $125,000 an episode. Full Story.

New Episode 05/02/04 : Simple Simpson

Homer is intrigued by a commercial that talks about a contest that will allow the winner, the finder of a golden ticket, a trip to "Farmer Billy's Bacon Factory." Homer buys a lot of pork products but is only able to find a silver ticket, which allows him to judge the pig competition at the county fair. When Homer sees an injustice being done to Lisa's entry in the place setting competition, he decides to take action. Remembering Chief Wiggum's warning about felony assault, he disguises himself as "Pie Man" and delivers a pie in the face as revenge. He disappears as quickly as he came, making Springfield wonder if they will ever see him again. Continue...

Hey fans, some fun new products headed your way into the US from the UK-based company, Wesco. You may remember that Wesco is the company which released such fun Simpsons items as the talking alarm clocks, light up clocks and talking banks. 2 new products hitting the market in the USA. First up are the talking door stops. Bart and Homer are the two designs which are coming out at about $29.99 each. The door stops talk as they are hit. Next up are the Inflatable Headrest AM/FM Radio. If it's quiet time, and you only want to spread out and listen to some tunes, imagine the fun you'll have with Homer the DJ as he helps you relax with his inflatable headrest that doubles as a radio. We've seen these in the blue (shown) and a yellow as well. Each go for $25.99. These items may not be out in your local stores for another 1-2 months so keep an eye out.

Change of Plan by Playmates Toys

Hey fans, we recently reported that after Series 16 of the World of Springfield line, Playmates was planning on releasing the Treehouse of Horror 5 set. We regret to inform you that it has been announced that the set has already been cancelled. Instead Playmates plans to re-release the characters from Series 1-3 which include Bart, Homer, Lisa, Grampa, Smithers, Lenny, Otto, Wiggum, Krusty, Mr. Burns, Barney, Ned, Moe, Nelson and Milhouse. New Episode 04/25/04 : Catch ‘Em If You Can

Sorry for the delay on this new episode. Bart lectures the other students on water balloons and after hitting Lisa with one he gets into a fight with her all the way home. Marge tells the pair that they are going to Dayton, Ohio to celebrate Uncle Tyrone's birthday. Bart and Lisa aren't thrilled with the idea and get to stay home. As a family activity they rent a video, "Love Story" and Bart and Lisa are bored by it such that they ruin any moment the film might have created for Homer and Marge. Homer and Marge look forward to their trip without the kids and on a whim they decide to forgo seeing Uncle Tyrone and get on a plane to Miami. Continue...

Those who purchase any of Kellogg's Frosties, Chocos, Coco Pops, Coco Pops Crunchers cereal packets or Kellogg's Coco Pops and Frosties bars, can start collecting points and exchange them for a free Kellogg's Simpsons watch. The offer is valid until stock lasts.

In order to obtain one of the blue, black, red or yellow Simpsons watch, all one has to do is to collect the 200 points required for each watch. A Frosties or Coco Pops cereal bar or a 30g Frosties, Chocos, Coco Pops or Coco Pops Crunchers portion pack carries 1 point and one has to save the wrapper or packet in order to be exchanged.

Determined to win her back, Skinner enlists Homer's help. Meanwhile, Marge is convinced Edna can do better. Edna rebounds into the arms of Comic Book Guy, who whisks her off to a comic book convention, where they run into Matt Groening (guest-starring as himself) signing autographs. Skinner shows up at the convention in a last, desperate attempt to fight Comic Book Guy for Edna's heart." Part of a full hour of the Simpsons.

Treehouse of Horror 5 Playset Preview

Hey fans, even though series 16 is the last of the Playmates World of Springfield sets, Playmates has still agreed to make their TRU Exclusive and best selling Treehouse of Horror Environment with exclusive figures. The people at Simpsons Collectors Sector has gotten the first images and previews of this years playset, Treehouse of Horror 5. Based on the THOH Episode XIII "The Island of Dr. Hibbert". In Dr. Hibbert's lab we have Homer as a walrus, Marge as a panther, Bart as a spider, Lisa as an Owl and Maggie as an anteater.
