Attention Simpson shoppers, a few updates for you on some new Simpsons clothing brought to you by the good people at Hot Topic. The first item is for the Disco Stu fans out there. Next up is a little update for all you Applause Plush toy fans. You'll be happy to hear that you will now be able to pick up 6 inch plush toys of Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and Maggie at your local Simpsons retailers. These are the smallest ones released of the set and are great if you don't want to have the large, bulkier ones. We've noticed that these smaller ones retail around for $9.99 each.
The convenience store has permeated our culture so deeply that people are analyzing Apu, the cartoon Kwik-E-Mart clerk on the Simpsons.
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon has stamped both positive and negative images on the convenience store industry, said Jeff Lenard, director of communications for the National Association of Convenience Stores, whose article on Apu is slated to appear in November in NACS Magazine.
"There are some retailers who truly think he is one of the worst things that has happened to our industry,'' Lenard said. But Apu is also one of the most honest, lovable, good-hearted characters on the long-running show, he said.

Hey collectors, with the Halloween season almost here, the next big season is Christmas and what can the holiday be without a new batch of Simpsons ornaments for the tree. Our good friend, Joe, sent us this image of 4 new ornaments found at local Media Play. Each is $6.99. We don't know if there are more to the set but usually there are about 10-12 released or maybe an 18 piece set like the one release last year. We'll keep you updated if we hear anything or we always appreciate updates from you :) .
Hey fans, some product updates heading your way. First off the new Simpsons Christmas DVD was released today. This DVD, like the recently released Halloween Special DVD, contains your favorite Christmas themed Simpsons episode including the very first Simpsons episode "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire". Other episodes on the DVD include Marge Be Not Proud, Miracle on Evergreen Terrace, and Grift of the Magi. DVD retails for $14.99.
Next up on the update block is the long awaited Blinky (the 3-eyed fish) Squishy toy from Dark Horse. This goo-filled, glittery toy is our favorite mutated fish in a squishy form. The Simpsons Couch Gags series will consist of statues that feature the family in different couch gags seen through out the years on the show. Hey fans, something for all you plush collectors out there. Just with you thought that the 12in. and the 18in. figures were big, here comes the 30in., yes 30!, Bart and Homer plush toys. Currently only available at FAO Schwartz family, these 30 inch figures are fun and soft enough even for the smallest child.
