Hey fans, it's finally here, the Season 3 Simpsons DVD Set is coming out this Tuesday (Aug. 26th). This has been a LONG awaited item for all fans of the show. To make the release even more special Harry Shearer, the voice of such characters as Burns and Smither, and Director David Silverman are doing a signing of the DVD the date of the release in Los Angeles. Hey fans, our cool buddy Joe has informed us that Media Play (owned by the same company as SunCoast and Sam Goody) now carry Applause Exclusive Pin Pals Homer Plush toys. Homer comes in his famous Pin Pals shirt, has a Bowling Bag with him as an accessory and is 12in. tall. The price for this item is $22.99. This is the second Applause Exclusive that we have seen. The first one was the Homer in Underwear Exclusive with Spencer's Gifts carried. Pick these up as soon as you can, they go fast.

Hey fans, we've always kept you up to date with the newest products in the US but now we'd like to take a little step and visit a few of the new items which you can only find in Europe. Even though a lot of these items are only in Europe now, we have noticed that SOME products eventually reach the US. Some of the items we noticed are Simpsons Clip Clocks which clip onto either your notebooks, paper or whatever you feel like. Another fun new items is the Homer Puzzle Sculpture. You get to sculpt Homer from flat puzzle pieces which you stack on top of each other and then when you finish you get to paint Homer with the included paints. Europe also has a lot more bath and bedroom items such as the Simpsons Shower Curtains which we found. Along with the curtains Europe caries a large selection of pillows, sheets and bedspreads. We recommend that if you want to check out these items and others visit
Happy Toys in Germany. If you're in Europe then go for it and have fun ordering. We're sticking to just US items for now.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced Monday winners of the 55th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in selected animation categories that are so-called juried awards. Juried awards do not have nominations, and there may be more than one winner in each category judged by members of ATAS' animation peer group. Azaria was recognized for his work in the "Moe Baby Blues" episode of the long-running Fox comedy. The win marks Azaria's fourth career Emmy, following wins in the animation voice-over category for "The Simpsons" in 1998 and 2001. Read the Full story Here.

Hey party people, a new item for all you Itchy and Scratchy fans. The Fun-4-All company, which has made in the past such Simpson products as the small wind-up toys and the Bop-Bag keychains, has released the Itchy and Scratchy Candle. The whole figure is made of wax with a resin bottom. It stands about 6 inches in height and features Itchy about to light a match to set off the explosives around tied-up Scratchy... a great scene. This candle goes for about $14.99 - $19.99 depending on the store you find it in. Since this is a candle, this item is not really meant to be played with as a toy and is not meant for kids. Have fun lighting this one up.

Hey guys and gals, we went shopping this weekend and along the way found these very cool wall clocks which are new from the
La Brea company which is based in good ol' Canada. We didn't find these on their site so we figure there are only 2 so far. The first one is a plastic wall clock which features Homer saying Doh!, a classic in itself. This one sells for under $20. The next one is a little more pricey ($29.99) and is made of resin/wood. It features a picture of Homer with him saying "Stupid Gravity" as his stomach hangs out. All around are 3D images of things like pizza, pie and of course Duff. We found both of these at our local Dark Horse Comics retailer, we recommend you hit yours soon since there weren't many left when we found them.

Hey fans, make sure to pick up the Septemeber 2003 Issue of Disney Adventures magazine to see the info page on the upcoming Simpsons Season 3 DVD; due out the 28th of this month. The info talks about "Easter Eggs" which are hidden in the DVD such as "To see sketch drawings from the artists go to Disc 4's Special Features hit 742 and Enter. Simpsons Mobile Phone Holder. Place your mobile, switched on, in the holder, and Homer will announce the call with one of his famous phrases before the phone rings. The next items are products which we actually first saw during ComicCon 2002. These
Simpsons Painted Resin Bar-ware. These bottle openers are the first of many which are to be released. There was bar-ware released before which were pewters but never painted as lively as these. We don't know if there are any US stores which carry these items but if you do.. feel free to post a comments.
