Hey gamers, the IGN.com recently did a review on the new Simpsons Road Rage game. The game got a 7.5/10 and here's what they say: On the consoles, Electronic Arts didn't really hide the fact that it "borrowed" Sega's Crazy Taxi idea for the company's first Simpsons-branded videogame, The Simpsons Road Rage. And though the development team used Sega's title as inspiration, Road Rage had its moments but ultimately couldn't come close to the original Crazy Taxi design. It's a different story on the Game Boy Advance, though; players disappointed in the action and pace of the GBA Crazy Taxi: Catch a Ride might want to take a look at what THQ's brought to the system in the handheld port of Road Rage. Even though the game sorely lacks the Simpsons "flavor" that the console games flaunted, the GBA version is a surprisingly enjoyable, fast-paced action racer with a lot of gameplay modes and unlockables. We all know about the religious influence The Simpsons show has caused in the past. The Scotsman that the Aberdeen Football Club acknowledges the fact that Willie is a fan of theirs. The club said they are delighted with the mention on the show, which is watched by millions around the world."
Hey baseball fans, Albuquerque Isotopes, a baseball team which was originally only fictional in Simpsons episodes and now a real team, is still making news. " Al Jean, head writer and executive producer of the show, thought it was amusing that the Isotopes had come to life in Albuquerque and told the Albuquerque Tribune that he hoped "we got a Duff beer concession for the new team." That's not going to happen. Apparently, "Simpsons" officials draw the line at their suds. An Australian company tried making Duff beer but got the word from Fox attorneys to cease and desist. But they have not stood in the way of the Isotopes name." Read it all Here.
