Next up we have another story about yet another college adapting the Simpsons into their semester program. Southern Connecticut State University is opening a class this semester which will analyze the Simpsons culture. The professor turns to postmodern media theory for the answer. She will have students analyze how "The Simpsons" uses parody, satire and humor to reflect the changing nature of our culture and society. "You see pessimism, cynicism, apathy, but also glimmers of hope," Dellinger-Pate said. We never had anything like this at our university! Well any of you who don't attent SCSU, you can read more about this class by going Here.

This is no normal college course, and not just because it sounds like the class is commenting on a popular cartoon character’s bodily functions. Don’t have a cow man, but Siena Heights University is offering a course on philosophy, theology, and The Simpsons."Philosophy 200: Animated Philosophy and Religion," is making its debut here this semester at the Catholic, liberal arts university of 1,170 students."
