New 2D Clock from Wesco

Hey collectors, Wesco, the UK based company, is shippong over another 2D Wall Clock. This one is of the famous bar scene where Homer is swinging from the lights and Lenny and Carl are in the background. This is the second 2D clock we've seen coming from Wesco but this design is nowhere yet to be found on their website even though the first one (Moe's Tavern 2D Wall Clock) is there. The clock is supposed to be out in a couple months and retails for $23.99.

TV Guide Previews Gellar Episode

Hey fans, be sure to pick up the new Fall Preview TV Guide which is now out on news stands. The preview features some news in entertainment about Sara Michelle Gellar's appearance on the Simpsons. Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar recently recorded an episode of Fox's The Simpsons to air in early 2004. In the episode, the Chosen One plays a kiddie delinquent named Gina who befriends Bart in juvenile detention. She later helps the bad seed escape, and the two go on the lam a la The Defiant Ones. Episode is set to air this season which starts November 2nd in the US.

Now available in stores are the long awaited Disguise Half Cap Masks and the Deluxe Full Costumes. The company also still offers the full head masks of Homer and Bart. Half Caps include Moe, Otto, Radioactive Man and more. Full out costumes include Burns, Willy and Radioactive Man. Prices range from $20-$30 for the Half Caps and $40-$60 for the full costumes. IGN.com Interviews Al Jean

Hey Gamers!, thanks to all those who gave us a heads up about IGN's interview with Simpsons Exectuive Producer Al Jean. He's been in television for more than twenty years now, starting off with The Tonight Show before moving to Alf and later The Tracy Ulman Show, which spawned The Simpsons. Jean would leave for a short period to launch The Critic, but unfortunately the Jon Lovitz-voiced cartoon wouldn't last, and Jean would return to Springfield. With the fourteenth season of The Simpsons done and the third season coming out on DVD, now was as good a time as any to talk to him about the long-running show and why it's taking so long to get the season DVD sets. Simpsons Season 3 DVD Record Sales

First-day sales of "The Simpsons: Season 3" double-disc DVD doubled those of the Season 1 DVD release and were about 20% ahead of the Season 2 box, according to Fox executives. "Simpsons 3," released Tuesday, is estimated to have already sold through about 40% of its initial shipment of about 500,000 DVD units. A half-million units is a fraction of what major theatrical titles ship to retail outlets and video rental stores, but for the nascent TV-to-DVD niche, it is a large shipment.
