Wristbands, Chew Toys and More...

Hey fans, some new products headed your way. First off we have some new exercise accesories with the Simpsons Wristband. These feature images of such characters like Ralph and Blinky on them. We know SunwayCo carries the items now for only $4.50. Also available for clothing are the new Blinky lanyard and show laces.
Next up on our list of new products are something for your lovable pets. From KellyToy comes Simpsons Chew Toys for your dogs. The toys are made in the shape of such thing like a Duff Beer Can, Donut, Maggie's Pacifier, Grandpa's Teeth and even Homer. You can now find these items at your local Target stores.
Finally, as we had mentioned before last October, Topps has released the new Simpsons gum and card packs. Each of the packs has four pieces of gum wrapped with a small sticker, as well as three big stickers and one big foil sticker the size of trading cards. You can find these at your local comic book store or card store for about $1.00 per pack.

Rumors of The Simpsons Movie... Again

Hit comedy cartoon show The Simpsons may be turned into a full-length movie - as long as it isn't yet another "dismal" TV to big screen feature.
Creator Matt Groening is in talks with movie bosses about bringing Bart, Homer and the rest of the dysfunctional family to movie screens - but he is approaching the prospect with caution.
He says, "We want to make sure it doesn't follow in the dismal footsteps of other TV shows turned into movies.
"I can only think of one that worked and that was South Park."

TV Guide's Fashion Hall of Fame and Toy Mention

Hey fans, the latest TV Guide for the week of March 29 - April 4th has two mentionings of our favorite family in it. The first (pg 14)is in the INsiders Toy Chest where they mention the soon to be released Mrs. Botz (played by Penny Marshall) and Stephen Hawking toys. The second one (pg. 24) is in The YV Fashion Hall of Fame where they mention 10 People Who Have a Style of Their Own. One of the persons listed is none other than Marge Simpson. "Springfield's stylish unofficial first lady knows what works for her (a green dress and classic pearls). Marge can hold her big blue haired head high." Pick up your copy of this TV Guide out on newstands this week.

Marge Voted 2nd Favorite Mum in UK

Hey fans, a recent poll done by the Mirror Newspaper in the UK found out who people think are the best "fictional" mums (moms for all of us here in the US). Coming in at second place, behind Eastender Kat Slater, is our favorite family's mother... Marge Simpson. "After Kat came Marge Simpson, The Simpsons (21 per cent). Mrs Weasley, Harry Potter (19 per cent). The Illustrated Mum, Jacqueline Wilson (13 per cent). Marianne, The Wild Thornberrys (nine per cent). Sophie, My Parents Are Aliens (eight per cent)." Simpsons Makes On Top 10 Shows of the CENTURY!

Hey fans, it shouldn't be a big surprise that our favorite show has won so many awards and now adding to the list is the 6th spot on the Top 10 Shows of the Century. The show comes in right after 60 minutes.. not bad. In first place was M.A.S.H., which we can see a lot of people disagreeing with. New Frames by Croce

Hey collectors, the good people at SunwayCo.com have more new product news for us all. Croce, the company that have brought us the new Simpsons bendies and bendies keychains have announced a new line of Simpsons frames. The frames are made of hand painted polyresin and will be avialable either in May or June of this year for about $20.00. There are 3 designs total, the one shown, another Homer design and a Bart design. We'll keep you updated as this product is released.

Series 12 Packaging and RE-Releases

Hey fans, the first images of Series 12 World of Springfield toys in their packaging has been released. Along with the basic 6 figures which are going to be release in this series (Database, Don Vittorio, Luann Van Houten, Mr. Large, Mr. Plow Homer and Stonecutter's Number One) there will be 2 RE-releases. The two, as shown, will be Mr. Burns from Series 1 and Moe from Series 3. We don't know if there will be any variantions in these figures from the originals just yet. One major difference will be the packaging of the RE-releases will be in the Series 12 packaging. This will make the biggest aspect for MIB collectors. You'll Have to Speak Up.. I'm Wearing a Towel

Hey fans, some new items heading your way; Simpsons beach towels. There are two new ones as for as we know. The first one is the "Bart with Skateboard" towel which measures 30 inches x 60 inches. It's the highest quality fiber print towels with the pigment not printed on the towel so the image won't ever peel. The second towel is of Homer "You'll Have to Speak Up, I'm Wearing a Towel" towel. Same measurements as the Bart towel and same high quality printing. These range for about $9.99 in stores.

Simpsons Nominated on Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards
