Hey fans, some news on some new products heading your way and updates on expected one. First off we have a new item we picked up from SunCoast / Sam Goody. This Travel Tumbler features the whole family in the car but in 3D! This tumbler is made by Zak Design and sells for $9.99.

Next up on the list of updates is the official news that Playmates has cancelled the 300th Episode Special Environment with figures. This environment was going to be Bart's Loft with Homer is skating gear. The popularity for this item was probably not high enough and we at Simpson Crazy knew something was up when the good people at Diamond cancelled the pre-orders for this item over 2 months ago. We don't know if there is a chance of this item coming back but we will keep you updated if it does.

New Episode: Brake My Wife, Please

"Jackson Browne becomes a badly drawn boy this Sunday when he debuts as a character on The Simpsons. In the episode 'Brake My Wife, Please' Homers loses his drivers licence and discovers the joys of walking. As he walks around the neighborhood he meets people he didn't know lived in the area including Jackson Browne and actor Steve Buscemi. However, with Homer grounded, Marge is needed for additional driving duties but the stress causes her to lose concentration and she runs over him. Marge then has even more duties on top of playing 'mum's taxi' she also now has to nurse Homer back to health." - Read.

Upcoming Events: Actors Studio and Homer in Chicago

Hey fans, some news for you on upcoming events for all of you in different parts of the globe. First up Jamz! Toronto reports that Bravo! will be premiering Inside the Actors Studio with the full cast starting June 8th. Read all about it here. Make sure to get your TIVO's ready.
For all of you lucky people in Chicago, Dan Castellaneta will be performing in the Chicago Improv Festival on May 15th-18th. Dan is a native to Chicago and is always fun to watch doing improv. We always try to catch him doing it here in LA at the Friars Club. Read more about this event here.
Finally for all you in good ol' California, MacHomer will be playing at Irvine Barclay Theatre on May 21-24th. This is one of the best "Simpsonized" shows we've ever seen. We recommend you check it out. Read about the event here.

New Episode: Old Yeller-Belly

Santa's Little Helper is shunned as a coward after opting to devour a roast turkey rather than pull Homer from a fire. Getting his nose stuck in a can of Duff Beer afterward, however, proves to be somewhat of a spirit-booster when it propells him to the status of Spuds McDuff: the Duff Brewery's new mascott. But matters worsen when the the dog's new-found fame (and net worth) cause his original race track owner to come forth and reclaim his "property" -- leaving it up to the Simpsons to get their dog back by proving Santa's Little Helper a coward unfit to hawk Duff beer.

The Moores are The New Simpsons?!

Hey fans, a story in the UK Guardian Unlimited talks about the new Nick Show "Meet the Moores". It's popularity is quite large but is it the new Simpsons? A second-hand-car salesman and his rebellious teenage son from Leicestershire may not be quite as off the wall as Homer and Bart Simpson, but Robert and Jack Moore have nevertheless become the real-life inspiration for a cartoon series on a children's TV channel. New Plush Toys for You.. and Your Pet

Hey there shoppers, big thanks to Joe for sending us these new items that you can now find in stores. The first one is a new Homer plush toy. This one is also made by Applause but instead of wearing the shirt, shoes and pants this Homer is wearing 1 sock, underwear and an undershirt. Also in Homer's left hand is a remote control... the true image of Homer. For now this 17 inch plush version of Homer can only be found at Spencers Gifts going for $24.99.
Once you've finished getting a toys for yourself, make sure to drop into Target and for $6.99 each you can pick up a Homer, Bart and Krusty chew pet toy for your favorite pet. Diamond Update: Mini Cups and Keychains, Duff Radio and More...

Hey collectors, another update coming your way featuring the newest Simpson items found in the Diamond Comics 2003 issue. First off we start with the featured new Simpsons Gacha items. Gacha is the company that has the $1 dispenser machines which can now be found featuring mini bobble heads and figures. The company has announced that the US market (since some other countries already have these) will be receiving soon the mini keychains and mini mugs. There are 8 keychains total Apu, Homer, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Marge, Milhouse and Nelson and there are 10 mini mugs in total. No certain release date is set for these but they should be arriving very soon to your local Gacha machine carrier.
Next up on the list of new goodies featured by Diamond is the Simpsons Family Glow-In-The-Dark Motion Lamp. This is the second Simpsons motion lamped released following the popular Moe's Bar one which you can still find at most Spencers Gifts. This one features the family members, including Homer, Marge and Grandpa, in different poses in the living room. Next up is the Simpsons Duff Can AM/FM Mini Radio. This item has been out in the UK for quite some time since it was released by the UK based company Wesco. The radio is fairly small, around 5-6 inches tall and comes with a headset. Retail price for this item is $12.99. That's all the NEW stuff from Diamond this time around, as usual we'll keep you posted on these and other products as news comes in.

Ratings Are in for 4/27

Rating are in for the newest episode of The Simpsons which are 4/27. "At 8 p.m., the second part of the "Touched by an Angel" finale won with an 8.8/15. FOX was second with a new episode of "The Simpsons" (6.7/11) and a repeat of the yellow family (7.1/11), coming in just ahead of the finale part of ABC's "Eloise at the Plaza." On NBC, "American Dreams" was fourth with a 5.0/8. On The WB, "Charmed" earned a 4.0/6." Do the Math.
